DIRECTV Channel Package Confusion After Upgrade

Upgraded my DIRECTV plan to include more sports channels, but after the update, some of the new channels still aren’t showing up. The billing reflects the new package, so I’m wondering if the channels take time to activate or if something needs to be refreshed on my end.

Wanted more sports coverage, so I upgraded my DIRECTV package through the app—it was a quick process, and the new pricing showed up right away. But when I went to watch one of the added channels, it wasn’t available yet. I checked directv customer service https://directv.pissedconsumer.com/customer-service.html to see if activation delays were normal. A few people suggested refreshing the receiver manually, which I tried using the on-screen settings. After that, the new channels appeared without any issues. Helpful tip if you're upgrading—sometimes a quick system refresh does the trick.
