Found an item I wanted to buy on Facebook Marketplace, sent a message to the seller, and it’s been stuck on “sent” for days without a reply. I’m not sure if the message even got delivered. Does this happen often, or could the listing be inactive?
Hello! Saw a great deal on a bookshelf and messaged the seller through Facebook Marketplace. It looked like the message sent, but there was no response, and the status never changed. Out of curiosity, I checked facebook marketplace and noticed other users had similar experiences. Sometimes listings stay visible even after sellers stop checking messages. I ended up finding a similar item from a more responsive seller. Now I always check if they’ve been active recently before waiting around too long.
